pain...
My brain cells seem to have died. I feel like I have not done or said anything intelligent for more than a week... I’m glad that everything at work is done for the moment. I do hope to do better in the coming month because I believe that my performance was not up to standard. Quite disappointed in myself actually… ~ sigh I now owe two colleagues a meal for helping me out on Friday while I went on a 6½ train ride to JB. I do want to apologize to Jo for making her feel like she was about to grow grey hair @.@ I wonder if I’ll ever want to take the train to JB or Singapore again. Everything that went on during the train ride got on my nerves, no thanks to the blistering headache I had since that Friday morning. Some girl opened and left one of the windows opened for almost the whole journey. The people in charge played some old movie titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. It was some whiny & annoying teen queen drama. Then some people sitting behind me decided to start talking at the top of their voices after the movie ended. So much for wanting a good rest on the train… Waking up real early the next morning sort of prolonged the headache I was having from the day before. We parked the car at Marina Square and made our way to the National Library on foot. Interestingly enough, the exhibit area was deserted. The final year students from TDS must’ve went out partying and decided to stay in bed, Uncle concluded. ~lol When Min finally reached the National Library, we hurried off to lunch at the Intercontinental. The first thing that caught my eye was the one whole tray of salmon sashimi...Yummy! I should really stop craving salmon so much...(I think Aya & BY must've thought I was mad when I had like 4-5 plates of Hana Maki at Sakae Sushi few months back...)Most of them were complaining they were bloated after that, so we took a long walk back to Marina Square with stops at Bugis Junction, the Raffles Hotel and CHIJMES. Oh ~ I finally bought the wallet that I’d been eyeing since the CNY trip. Sorry Mum, but I couldn’t find any that I like in KL( she’s been telling me not to buy stuff from S’pore because they’re expensive…hehe) Damnz, after window shopping on Sat, I feel like going on a shopping spree in S’pore…grrr…why am I so broke… YY just told me about a house he n Alex checked out a week ago. Yay! Can move soon. Oh noes, that means more money going out of me pockets! T.T I shall now go tend to the week-old ulcer at the bottom of me tongue…ugh… ####### |
