Here I am ~ in a freakin' freezer with no work to do at the moment. So, I thought I should just pen down what has been happening these few weeks since my last entry(blog update not included)...

May 23rd to May 29th

It was the MOST stressful week that I went through since starting work @ Pedal Works (FOF). Of course work ALWAYS comes in at the last minute but for that whole week, it was just too EXTREME. Stocks + company profile + newsletter = KILLING! even HTML appeared to be an alien language to me during this period. Quite pathetic...and I don't see how I could've got through it...

The only thing that kept me sane, was you! Thanks a million and sorry =D

When I finished everything by the 27th(Fri), they tell me to pause! Ugh...deadline extended! I was going through hell and they tell me THAT!I just snapped! ~ No, I didn't bite their heads off...hahaha though I really wish I could've. And I just wish ONE day someone cannot make the deadline for them....call me black-hearted but hey, it's not gonna be my problem anymore...

May 30th - June 5th

Fine-tuned everything that I did the previous week and when I sent the newsletter out, problems erupted. Most recipients could not view it. I seriously didn't know whether it was my fault or PHPList's! Weird thing was, I could
view the email. My yahoo.co.uk acc could BUT yahoo.com acc couldn't! WTF...Less than half n hour after I sent it to the mailing list, one customer called the office saying she can't view it on her Mac pc. Annoyed, I resent the mail. And I sent one copy to aya to see whether she could open & view it. She could!....Sigh....

Pissed ~ I just uploaded everytyhing onto the server and sent links to the mailing list...haha...Boss couldn't understand why it happened(uh...neither could I)~ so I did more research which took like forever....I have NOT figured out what the freakin' problem is even til now...and finally the Boss asked me to look up other software or tools that could sent out proper HTML emails. They cost a bomb....even just the license...sigh...

I just gave a list to the Boss and told her to make a decision. She has not gotten back to me since...so I do not have any idea how we're gonna send out the next batch of newsletters....

Oh ~ I sent in my resignation letter...haha and felt terribly relieved...it was after VERY long consideration and a discussion with MUM helped lots....and not forgetting you, you, you, you you ! Hahaha Actually I think I talked to quite a lot of people who had given me really thoughtful opinions =D. Thank you ~ all of you!

I will still be doing their newsletter, on a freelance basis now...hehehe

June 6th to June 12th

Didn't do much because I had completed whatever that was due. So I spent time learning new stuff from the Net ie blog templates, newsletters etc. D lost his new phone ! Not exactly new but it is only about 6 months old.. hehe...Can you imagine, not having any recollection about it from when he got out of the house til he got back to the house...the only thing he remembered was that his car went over something while he was going over a hump near the house and when he looked in the side mirror he saw something black rolling to the side...

And of all things to do, he just drove away...sigh...We looked high and low for it and gave up ~ from the moment of giving up, he became so totally blur ~ gosh....not just for a moment I tell you, but for like 4 full days. Can't blame him though, because I was in a daze for God knows how long when my bag got snatched that day with everythin important I had inside....sigh....ranging from the cc to bankcards and my beloved limited edition phone...LOL... it's not really limited edition, just no longer produced...he even took my most expensive lipstick...grrr

Does this happen? People sorta phase out when they realized they've lost something?

Guess what, I actually received an envelope with my old SIM card in it this very week...it was sent to D's house... ~ from the second I saw it, I knew it was mine...and when I checked the serial number...it was mine alright... can't believe the f*ing idiot had the "courtesy" of giving it back to me...what's the point man...it was well over a month already... I think I cursed a lot that night I got it back...hahaha....and I'm gonna continue cursing him wherever he is....

Couldn't stand it that D was so incredibly blur....working but damn slowwww....so we went to get him a phone in Klang on Sat. He was looking at some new ones and also at the SAME model phone that he lost. Finally it came down to two....the Nokia 3230 and the Samsung that he'd lost! Any sane person would be thinking why the hell are you choosing the same phone?...I argued with him at the shop for so long...hahaha...it was pretty darn amusing!

He insisted so I just said I had "no eye see"! Even the lady-boss found it weird and laughed. The next few people that we met after leaving Klang were looking at him one-kind and I think hey must've been wondering he was NUTS! ~ to be getting the same freakin' phone....hahaha

And you know what, that VERY night, he went back and told me; he regretted getting the same ONE. I was like; WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT????!!!!! and just looked at him....hahaha....I didn't know what to say...GOSH... there he was that afternoon, nicely arguing that he loved the phone so much(esp slide ones) ....and now he felt REGRET?

The only thing that was in my mind was; WTH is wrong with you? (Wahahahaha......) He got a long lecture from me that nite....I still can't believe that he could do such things....Next day, he called them to ask whether he could exchange the phone for the Nokia...so nice of them to let him y'know...hahaha...Lucky him too...LOL...

There.....the summary of my past 3 weeks...LOLOLOL

While reading the news pages yesterday, I saw the announcement that Nokia launched 4 more new models in Europe and the Asia Pacific. Being nosy...I clicked on the webbie and saw the new models. The first thing on my mind was D....hahaha....Why? Cuz all the freakin' new phones were slide phones!!!!! (They're all quite nice I might add) So what did I do? I downloaded the videos and saved them to let D watch the phones in action...hahaha

He was like " You're kidding right? " at the time I told him last nite....hahaha He looked as if he was about to dig his eyes out of the sockets....LOLOL....

Okay I was being evil...hahaha....so I said, you can always get it the next time around...."Nokia traitor"...LOL

Just as I was surfing about this morning, I came across a piece of news regarding the UK Working Holidaymaker Scheme. I became so totally awake after reading it...haha...quite saddened by the fact that applications from M'sia are suspended from Apr '05. I gather those who know me well would've known that I was planning to get work+holiday in UK. Apparently, it's because the applications are over limit and they are gonna review after a six month suspension whether they should continue with the scheme for M'sians or NOT! So yeah, my hopes are dashed for the mo'.(Really feel like screaming now....ARGHHHHHHHHHHH)
