Slept @ 230am on the 9th Apr and woke up 5 hrs later for a last minute trip to Penang for "cheng beng". Wow,
can't believe I was actually sore from sitting in the car. LOL. Had to make Unc Lik wake up early and send us to the Sg Buloh Rest Area and I'm feeling REAL guilty about it. (So sorry Unc....will make it up to you ~ promise)(Damn me for being so last minute in arrangements....grrrrr)Met up with Unc Chong, Aunt Viki n Will (who wokeup at 3am and started driving up from JB )and had a quick breakfast at the rest area. didn't have much time...yknow)

Journey started at 815am and we reached Penang in exactly 4 hrs. Our task hadn't even started...hehe....It was very HOT!....went to great grandfather's grave first....was so afraid of falling...LOL...who asked him to be buried like almost at the top of the hill...and we were actually discussing about the feng shui of his grave...haha...I have no idea why though....so we took about half n hour to finish clearing up, repainting n etc....

Next up was great grandma's....according to Unc Chong ...they alwiz had a hard time finding hers...no matter how many times they made a mark....finding her grave took a while...hehe...and finally, Will found it. We started
to say that they preferred those who were from overseas...LOL....imagine that...

finishing up great grandma's in half n hour...we went to great grand uncle's grave...I think looking at the site made me feel dizzy...hahaha...it wasn't exactly messy...just that...it's so neat that it looked messy...(what the hell am I talking about...) of course you can't compare it to the ones in HongKong(those are real nice aren't they?)....yikes...i'm comparing which cemetery actually looks proper....had a difficulty finding it also...and finally D found it haha...again it was the distant relative who found it...(what is up with them man....LOL)

we were ahead of time when we finished off at great grand uncle's grave. so, took our time to roam about nice and architecturally wonderful homes & buildings...hehe...freakin' expensive too...LOL...b4 going off to grandpa's
(grave?)....not exactly a grave...cannot really figure out what the name is though...we did what we supposed to doand left...

had like a whole hour b4 we could check into the hotel...so we went for something real refreshing..."Cendol @ Penang Rd"...felt so much better after one bowl...the weather was KILLING I tell you...

we stayed at The Northam...each bathroom had a jacuzzi...quite cool...didn't exactly take pics of the room though...haha
just realized you wouldn't know what I am talking about anywayz....hehe the three guys went for a swim.... at the "infinity p00l" hahaha...a very appropriate place for s0meone to commit suicide I tell you... don't know where you'll land once u fall over ....(sorry...dunno why I am talking like this)

Dinner was great....was it nyonya? or was it peranakan...can't remember but...everybody enjoyed the meal courtersy of what was supposedly a treat from aunt viki's friend...but unc chong paid for it...hehe...after that, we went for
dessert and then for a drive along the beachfront....there weren't many ppl around compared to the crowd I saw last Jul...I guess everyone's thinking it's better to be safe than sorry.....

The next afternoon, we checked out and headed back to KL. Stopped by Ipoh to visit grand uncle...erm..dunno which one though...but have alwiz known him to be the grand uncle from Ipoh...hehe...by the time we reached KL it was 5 plus or 6pm....cannot exactly remember...D & I then used another car and guided Unc Chong out to the NKVE thru Subang....save him the one big round if he got out @ Damansara...

It was an interesting trip altogether....even though it was last min and quick...hehe...
