Neverending Wait?

Okay ~ I've definitely been lazy...I guess sometimes I just haven't the mood to jot down what's been happening lately ~ hehe

Drove back for CNY on the eve of the Eve of CNY with a very red head and really twisted curls. Mum just looked at my hair in horror while my sis commented " you look like a punk "! ~ haha I think Auntie Nancy couldn't help herself to the newly dyed hair and gave me a new look...CNY this year was pretty quiet...not everybody came home for the reunion dinner 'cept that D came home along with me (nvr understood why his family nvr have a reunion dinner but it's their family business ~ better dun ask too much...although I did ask him too many times whether he really could go back with me...think that annoyed him =D) Then came the first day of CNY ~ more uncles and aunts came back and the house was in a chaotic realm. Kids running here and there. Tv switching channels with of course lots of interceptions from Lillian Too talking very loudly. No matter how many times the channel was being switched, you can't surpass channel @15 ( cuz nobody at home bothered to remember they should just press the numbers and not one by one.....~sighie)

2nd day should be promptly entitled " Wash & Wax day ". D & I (+ an uncle ) washed all the cars that were in the house compound consisting of Mummy's Peugeot, Daddy's Nissan, D's Proton, Unc Lik's Nissan & Unc Tek's Toyota. Had to struggle a bit cuz Dad's and Unc Tek's was so big and tall, but I seriously couldn't have imagined I'd do such a thing during CNY...." rajin do other things 'cept my work =( " ~ sigh...Next day...everyone went home while D & Daddy drove 2 cars down to JB - hadn't seen Grandma for CNY yet ~ Had dinner with Grandma & Unc Chong (nice restaurant with a unique environment although the food quality was not at all that bad or good...hehe) Supposingly, D & I wanted to drive back to KL that night but we didn't cuz it did not stop raining even til the next morning...which was Sunday and we took turns driving the really long highway from JB to KL...boy~ it was an incredibly boring drive with another jammed up area in Seremban...

Fast forward to Thurs, 29th Jan, on the Eve of the dreaded PD trip ~ haha...D had something to settle about his road tax so he went alone to the police station and again he went off in a bad mood (sheesh...why does he always do that) Then later on, Maggie picked me up and we went to 1U looking for some stuff. Spent a few hours there when I got D's phone call saying he was going out...got incredibly mad with him for everything he said and straightaway went for a puff ...ugh..."I so needed that"... and thank you to Maggie for being there for me and sorry to Maggie for acting so silly in front of u...hehehe...Maggie then dropped me off in SS2 and D picked me up to go K.Selangor (mind me ... I hadn't even packed for the trip) for some event. The quarreling and squabbling started and ended with screams. By the time we reached KS...we'd already cooled down (why the heck...oh nvm) After a session for fireworks and supper ~ we drove back to PJ ( I stil had to pack!!!! )

Finished packing at 5am slept til 7am ~ took a bath and drove straight to Maggie's place in Subang. Had breakfast with D and we went off to Cyber in Maggie's car. We waited for the buses and lecturers for more than an hour ( I think ) and finally made our way to PD. Since I hadnt' had proper sleep, after some chit chat I fell numbly asleep. Was actually looking forward to the trip no matter how I dread it ~ haha ~ Reached somewhere ( can't remember the name of the place ) and got down as the classmates needed to do Fri prayers...we went off for lunch...bad experience and felt terribly neglected as the other 2 buses had already reached the resort....ughhhhhhh

Next 2 days passed without incidents but lots of brain-cracking and incredible laughter and also a lot of huffing n puffing in many months...hehe We got lots of advice and advice and more advice regarding our work and I could sum it up as a fun weekend =D...When I got back ~ all I did was watch TV and eat many many things...hahaha ~ like I didn't get enough to eat like that...sheesh...

Monday passed without incidents. Had an open house thingie on that night. D & I was eating and drinking with lots of ppl and some of us got terribly drunk. Wine + shandy + beer + shandy + wine + (X_X) etc. I basically passed out once I got back to my room. Was supposed to attend class the next morning but I had a bad hangover and my tummy was upset ~ sigh. *Nvr do that anymore...though I dun think I'll remember it*

Fast forward again to Friday afternoon ~ I was watching an episode of SATC with my computer when lightning struck and the whole place went dark. What a freaking thunderstorm man....and I turned on the computer after the rain to find that I couldn't go online anymore. So I made several calls to TMNet...the calls were frustrating cuz I had to wait too damn long to get some technical assistance. Final conversations with them and Douge (later on) confirmed the worst ~ Modem's gone for good.....aaarrrggghhhhh

Had some other phone calls regarding the review and also some SMS'...By midnite ~ the lightning struck me instead ~ Review was going to start on the coming monday and I'm stil like stuck in the concept stage...uwaaaaaaaa...Made the resolution to wake up early the next day and go down to Low Yat to get a new modem. I did get to LY but it was pretty late in the afternoon cuz my alarm clock didn't ring or I must've turned it off too many times...sigh...forked out rm 215 for the freaking modem and another rm 25 for some CDs. When I got back, tried to configure the modem but didn't work...no matter how many times I tried =((...Last resort ~ called Douge... Thanks a million for coming over so far to fix it so late at nite...oops...should be early in the morning...hehe Thanks to Douge's brother as well... Seriously dunno what would've happened to me if you guys didn't help me...and also sorry for making you guys come all the way at such a time...

Hm......
