Paycheck >> Shopping
Imagine! Entering the studio at 9 to find it empty! *ponders whether to leave*...and then the lecturer steps in...*okay, there's clas for sure*...when I laid the books and bag down on one of the tables, I look around the studio...standing mobiles, hanging mobiles and posters were arranged in a way to catch your attention once you enter thru the studio doors. Nice~! Fresh ideas~! Imaginative~! Plain beautiful~! Most visuals just take your breath away and show you how much potential the Juniors are *much much better than the Seniors~I can say*Of course I'm not saying the Seniors suck in their work*no no no~what do we deserve to be said like that*, it's just that the quality SHOWS! There's so much difference. I feel damn betrayed about what we've learnt all thruOut the years. I remembered when I had to do this project, I was slacking like hell!! In the created *to my horror* posters and copy which was totally unacceptable!! *man, did I feel like crying when I saw the printed work* Couldn't have imagined I could actually produce such horrendous creations =( I learnt my lesson ! Well, the Seniors know damn well what we've gone thru these 3 yrs ++ Sometimes I can just sit down and think of how was it possible I could've survived all these years in Uni. The brilliant ones are just way on TOP with their work and everythin'*I dunno how to range the average thou~sighie*I was actually wishing I was half as good as the Juniors =). The impression's definitely THERE and I really wish them well~hehehe *which reminds me, I've to do better in the finals, if not I won't be able to find work~EVER!* Clas~was pretty short with ex-seniors+tutors talking about their experiences in the final semester at Uni and how they progressed thru their work. In between, all thoughts in my mind turned into a whirlwind. I felt insanely guilty for not progressing properly on my work. I am actually looking forward for the PD trip*whould've thought of that*so I can do my best in my finals ~hahaha. They were saying there might be a change of date or something because of Raya Haji....hmmm....well doesn't matter I guess...as long as they do NOT spoil anybody's mood because CNY is nearing ...which of course made me go shopping after doing some stuff at the bank. It's been pretty long since I shopped. Boy~was it tiring and I only managed to get 2 tops!! *not like there were a lot I could've fit into!!!!!!* I'm seriously wondering what is wrong with the sizes of clothes nowadays. Most of them are in the range of "S" & "M"???!!!!! Can everyone fit into those 2 sizes only? Or the bigger-sized are just not meant to buy any new clothes??? Or are those companies being bias and providing sizes for people who are on the slimmer side n stuff? *tragic* Or mayb I just went into the wrong shops....Oh well, at least I could fit into those 2 tops I bought *target: LOSE WEIGHT* *thanks Devinia for going shopping with me =D* A glance at the watch showed that it was 6 something in the evening and I decided NOT to risk getting into TRAFFIC jams and stayed in MidValley. Met up with D for a cuppa at Starbucks and then went up to browse through which movie to watch. We then decided to choose between Infernal Affairs III and Paycheck. D finally bought tickets for Paycheck!! We took the "twin-seats" *which is of course worth it, because I was tired out from walking and driving~hahaha* What can I say about Paycheck? It's actually NOT a very good movie *sorry to say*. The storyline was pretty messed up with lots of potholes in it. I was actually sleeping thru the first half hour of the movie =P. The only part memorable *spoiler ahead* was when Michael(Ben A) and Rachel(Uma T) were running from the bad guys and jumped into a fenced area filled with BMWs. They were of course looking for one to drive away but the key couldn't seem to open any of the CARS in the area. Then Rachel said that they were most probably looking in the wrong place----cut to bad guy car stopping infront of a BMW showroom and the hero & heroine driving thru the glass which of course shattered---then the car chase began...hehehe...bad guys chasing the bike with FORD cars....FBI and police chasing the bike with a heli & cars....the action at that point of the movie was pretty intense~! Basically, as many potholes the storyline had, it was pretty predictable as well. Good guys always have the tendency to win over the bad =D Come to think of it, the recent movies that've premiered over this 2 weeks are not those which people would wait in anticipation to watch. Maybe I'm wrong but definitely not my kind of taste*like my taste matters...hahahaha*Mayb I just haven't gotten over the fact that ROTK was too brilliant for words =D~ hahahaha It's still lingering in my thoughts..... *roasting in an oven* ####### |
